Scenario celebrates 10th anniversary of Thailand manufacturing facility

Scenario, an award-winning design and fabrication firm, is celebrating ten years of operation with zero accidents while consistently maintaining a steady workflow and producing high-quality show sets from its Thailand manufacturing facility.

The space is about 50 minutes from central Bangkok and covers over 5,500 square meters, including office and production areas. Designed for efficiency, the facility is segmented into several production zones, functioning as a smooth, end-to-end process.

Production starts with creating the master model at the front, then moves to mould making and FRP fabrication. It continues through assembly and preparation, then finishes with theme painting at the back of the building.

Reaching 10 years of operation without a single accident while maintaining consistent quality is a significant milestone for the firm. This achievement is possible thanks to the dedicated team, many of whom have been with the facility since it opened.

After each project, the team gathers to identify areas for improvement, allowing for the workflow to be refined. The company regularly updates and adds quality control checkpoints throughout the production process to ensure every product meets the highest standards.

These checkpoints also enable continuous improvement: if anything falls short of expectations, the team is immediately notified to address the issue and learn from the experience.

A skilled local team

One of our factory’s key strengths is its talented Thai artists, known for their exceptional creativity and meticulous attention to detail. Each project features a unique theme, and the company collaborates closely with clients to interpret and realise the art director’s vision.

Backed by skilled sculptors and painters, the team expertly crafts detailed sculptures and applies thematic paint to reinforced plastic parts, vividly bringing each project to life.

Every project comes with its own set of challenges. The initial step is to align expectations early on, making sure the project vision is clearly understood and agreed upon by both the client and the direction team.

The second challenge involves fabrication timing. Although every project begins with a baseline schedule that assumes ideal conditions, delays can occur in practice, whether due to client issues or internal factors. Despite these obstacles, the team demonstrates professionalism and determination to deliver high-quality, immersive show sets.

Looking ahead, Scenario aims to maintain a steady flow of work through this facility. As many new projects are announced globally from different clients, the team says it is eager to help bring theme parks to life with high-quality craftsmanship made in Thailand.

Scenario also recently shared how its Manila office supports global experience design, with the Philippines location acting as a key creative hub for the firm.
