Semnox Solutions, a technology provider for the entertainment and amusement industry, has successfully implemented its comprehensive venue management platform at Playcity Milano, a premier family entertainment centre operated by Allstar SRL in Milan's Bicocca shopping mall.
Allstar SRL, a leading entertainment operator in Italy with more than 12 family entertainment centres nationwide, selected Semnox after evaluating various options in the market. Prioritising EU data hosting, the operator found Semnox's GDPR-compliant and PCI-certified platform to offer the assurance needed for this partnership.
A flexible, guest-centric solution

The venue features more than 100 arcade games equipped with Semnox Lumin readers, three self-service kiosks with integrated payment processing, and full Italian language support. Additionally, it offers bowling, pool tables, and virtual reality attractions.
A key feature of Semnox is its dual-mode operation, which lets venues accept both RFID play cards and traditional cash payments.
This flexibility enables guests to select their preferred payment method, while the business gains from the efficiency of cashless transactions. The platform records cash and card gameplay collections separately, simplifying accounting.
