National Gallery, Singapore

National Gallery Singapore, the city state’s largest collection of Singaporean and Southeast Asian art, and one of the most keenly awaited new Asian galleries of 2015, opened offering three mobile tours produced by Imagineear.

Challenge
To bring alive the curators’ content and interpret it in a format and in local languages that would help National Gallery Singapore reach the many different audiences visiting this leading venue.

Solution
Imagineear vetted, edited, translated and produced tours for the UOB Southeast Asia Gallery and the DBS Singapore Gallery, together with a Building History tour to explore the uses and architecture of the former Supreme Court and City Hall buildings that have been restored and combined to house over 8,000 works of art. In addition to Singapore English, Imagineear recorded the tours in three languages: Singapore Malay, Tamil and Singapore Mandarin with studio sessions taking place in London and the Garden City.

What We Are Proud Of
The tour content has been well reviewed and received by the public since opening.
