The Beatles Story
The Beatles Story is the world’s largest permanent exhibition purely devoted to the lives and times of The Beatles. Located in the Fab Four’s hometown of Liverpool on the UNESCO World heritage site at the Albert Dock, The Beatles Story takes visitors on an atmospheric journey through the lives, times, culture and music of The Beatles.
Challenge
To complement the physical site, the award-winning museum wanted to expand their Beatles experience of Liverpool by providing a city-wide tour to the places that were central to the lives and upbringing of the Fab Four.
Solution
We included a GPS map driven app, enabling users to locate themselves in relation to the scattered points-of-interest around the city. We scripted and developed a 21-stop tour, rich in visual media, taking visitors from the Fab Four’s childhood homes right through to the nightclubs they used to play in.
