Saudi Arabia's new Six Flags Qiddiya City theme park near Riyadh is opening on 31 December.
Located in Qiddiya City, the Qiddiya giga-project's destination for entertainment, sports and cultural experiences, Six Flags Qiddiya City will offer several record-breaking attractions.
These include Falcons Flight; the world's tallest, fastest and longest coaster, Iron Rattler; the world's tallest tilt coaster, and Spitfire; the world's tallest inverted coaster.
Intamin, a creator of record-breaking amusement rides, has partnered with Qiddiya to design Falcons Flight.
In total, the park is home to 28 rides and attractions, 18 of which are designed for families and younger guests.
Brian Machamer, park president of Six Flags Qiddiya City, said the theme park "not only opens its door to the public for the first time, it starts to showcase everything Qiddiya City stands for: bold imagination, unforgettable experiences, and a new benchmark for global entertainment".
Ticket prices for new Six Flags park
As well as setting an opening date, the ticket prices for Six Flags Qiddiya City have been revealed.
Adult tickets start at SAR325 ($86), while children's ticket prices start at SAR275 ($73). Children aged under four can enter for free.
Six Flags Qiddiya City is the first Six Flags theme park outside of North America.
Its rides and experiences are spread across six immersive lands.

The themed lands are Steam Town, Twilight Gardens, Discovery Springs, City Thrills, Valley of Fortune and Grand Exposition.
As for Qiddiya City, highlights include the Aquarabia water park, the world’s first Dragon Ball theme park, a gaming and esports district, and an immersive motorsport circuit.
