7thSense, the multi-award-winning media solutions specialist, is exhibiting at ISE in Barcelona this week, where the team is launching the new Performer Range product line. This range of new technologies is designed to enable creative teams to tell their media-based stories with the highest standards of quality, reliability, and support.
Each product is named after performing roles, and the range consists of R-Series 10, Actor, Conjurer, Compere and Juggler. Every item in this range, including the Delta Media Server and Medialon product lines, is designed to work independently. When combined together, these solutions have the power to streamline media and production workflows, therefore saving time, improving reliability and simplifying the process for users as they work to bring media-based stories to life.
A complete solution
The 7thSense Performer Range of devices may now be connected to all other AV hardware and software systems within a show, experience, event, or installation thanks to the Medialon product line. It serves as a “bridge” between 7thSense and the larger technological environment and experience system, such as the virtual realm and game logic in generative media. It’s all now compatible with 7thSense.
Every performer needs a stage to perform on, and the new 7thSense R (for “Ring”)-Series 10 offers the necessary server hardware.
In contrast to other 7thSense products, the R-Series 10 is a standalone hardware solution that can be purchased from 7thSense and is intended to meet the requirements of the most demanding generative projects, virtual production applications, and intricate media-based attractions. Customers can use R-Series 10 to run their favourite generative engines, such as Notch, TouchDesigner, Unity, and Unreal Engine.
The new 7thSense Performer Range makes it possible to create a workflow that takes images from any outside source and shows them exactly as the storyteller intends. The expanded 7thSense product range comprises:
- R-Series 10: The new 7thSense hardware platform. Designed to be the host of Actor, Conjurer, and Delta Media Server.
- Actor: The next generation 7thSense media server – optimised for uncompressed video playback.
- Conjurer: The 7thSense generative content solution – bringing generative engines into the 7thSense Compere workflow, including Unreal Engine, Unity, TouchDesigner and Notch.
- Compere: The 7thSense intelligent workflow interface that brings together the 7thSense Performer Range.
- Juggler: The award-winning, and newly expanded, 7thSense pixel processor range designed to be the backbone of complex high-resolution systems and mega canvasses to streamline, simplify and optimise workflows.
- Medialon: The 7thSense show control range and Performer Range connector. Allowing the connection of a 7thSense ecosystem to other brands and products within an installation.
- Delta Media Server: The original 7thSense media server product line, and the first to bring uncompressed media playback to the world.
The team will be demonstrating R-Series 10 and Juggler 2, and revealing all other Performer Range products, from 31 January to 3 February at ISE 2023 in Barcelona on stand #5E250.
7thSense won a range of awards last year, including an accolade for its Juggler pixel processor at the 2022 AV Awards in London.
