Entry passes can be kept safe within multi-functional park apps

Attractions.io, a leading creator of mobile visitor apps, has announced a new integration which will help attractions to create accessible and more sustainable visitor experiences. For the first time, the firm’s guest-facing mobile technology can be combined with EPOS & online ticketing software from Visisoft, beginning this month.

Guests can now import their admission and membership passes straight to a digital wallet, as an alternative to printing tickets or purchasing at the gate. Instead, guests’ phones can now act as pre-booked entry passes for top attractions around the world.

With the integration, tickets are stored directly within the app to enable offline access, meaning they are optimised for venues with varying signal quality and are optimised for turnstile scanning. Guests no longer need to wait for attendant authorisation to access attractions, saving resources for operators during busy periods.

Head of VisiSoft, Lee Drew comments: “At VisiSoft, our mission is to help attractions across the UK look after their customers and embracing new trends in digital technology has always been part of what we do. Integrating our EPOS and ticketing systems with Attractions.io allows us to give our clients even more key functionality.”

“Wave of opportunities”

A number of the UK’s top attractions already use VisiSoft’s EPOS service to streamline ticketing and business management processes, and can benefit from the newly enhanced offering.

The integration means even more guests can be informed with key attraction info including changes in opening times and useful push notifications when they download a park app for ticket access.

Operators will benefit from a major new communication, promotion and marketing tool actively used by customers.

Attractions.io founder and CEO Mark Locker says: “We work with brilliant attraction brands around the UK and many of them use VisiSoft to help manage their guest experience and streamline the backend of their business.

“I am confident that adding the integration with VisiSoft’s ticketing solution to our app ecosystem will create an incredible new wave of opportunities for parks wanting to elevate their visitor experience and reduce friction on site.”

Attractions.io has also recently announced an updated user segmentation feature, providing operators with a better understanding of on-site guest behaviour.
