Larry Paul, Executive Director – Technology and Custom Solutions Enterprise and Entertainment at Christie Digital, will be hosting this virtual session, looking at how RGB pure laser projection can dramatically enhance colour.

During this session, attendees will learn interesting insights into how the human eye perceives colour as well as discovering some colour facts and standards. Paul will explain how RGB pure laser projectors produce colour and how this technology can achieve spectacular results.

Other topics covered include the phenomenon of colour volume, the Rec. 2020 colour space and how it compares to Rec. 709 and P3 DCI, as well as other factors that impact colour and image quality.

The session takes place at 6 pm BST on Tuesday 13 October. If you haven’t yet signed up for a place at blooloop V-Expo, you can still do so by clicking here.

Earlier this month, Christie announced that its projection technology has been used to help create a large-scale night tourism experience in China, promoting the Guangwu Mountains in Sichuan province and boosting the local tourism industry.
