Frictionless locker purchases mean less reliance on staff and ease of access for visitors

Connect&GO, a leader in guest experience engineering and wearable RFID technology for events and attractions, has enhanced visitor facilities with new technology at a leading Canadian waterpark destination.

Located near Montreal, Super Aqua Club has entertained swimmers and families seeking relaxation since 1985. With over 45 water slides on site, the attraction borders the sandy shores of Lac des Deux Montagnes.

With a recent Connect&GO upgrade, guests can now reserve lockers through the waterpark’s eCommerce ticketing or POS locations, linking rental directly to RFID wristbands along with tickets, season passes and cashless funds for food and retail. Throughout the day, guests can then access their locker by scanning their wristband at the console.

A continuing partnership

Under the leadership of Super Aqua Club president and co-owner Nadine St-Amant, the waterpark started utilising the Konnect platform two years ago to help streamline on-site processes, reduce lines, and deliver experiences that drive revenue and guest engagement.

St-Amant says: “We are thrilled to launch the next phase in our ongoing partnership with Connect&GO to provide a modern and fully-integrated guest experience. The new locker integration helps save our staff time while making it easier for guests to enjoy their day with us.”

Connect&GO’s new integration with Locketgo means staff no longer need to receive cash deposits and supervise physical locks and keys. The water park now has the option to configure different lockers, with the ability of monetising VIP sections.

Diverse capabilities

Alongside the locker integration, Super Aqua Club also uses Konnect modules for integrated eCommerce ticketing, point-of-sale, food and beverage, photo and video, access control, marketing automation and cashless transactions. The result is an interconnected system that allows the venue to track guest transactions, improve promotions and maximise revenue.

Dominic Gagnon, Connect&GO CEO says: “Super Aqua Club has been a fantastic partner. Nadine has a strong vision of what the waterpark experience should really be and is dedicated to making it better for her staff and her guests. We are excited to partner with her to revolutionize the water park experience for many years to come.”

Connect&GO recently signed a three-year contract with Calaway Park, allowing the Canadian attraction to monetise its top attractions with photo and video products.
