Dynamic pricing AI startup Convious raises further €3.6m

Dutch dynamic pricing AI tech startup, Convious has raised more than €3.6 million from existing investors Capital Mills and others.

Convious uses AI to deliver a personalised online booking and buying experience for visitors.SEA LIFE Scheveningenrecently seen its online ticket sales double as a result of using Convious' dynamic pricing platform.

Camiel Kraan, CEO, and co-founder of Convious, says, “We have seen that dated marketing practices that use a generalist approach fail to create value in what we like to call 'the new economy', which is data-driven and consumer-led. Our first customers have seen an increase from 30 to 100% by switching to a dynamic process model."

Expansion plans for 2018

The company has had an eventful year already in 2018. In January the companyannounced the opening of a new AI Research and Development office in Vilnius, Lithuania.

In JanuaryConvious 2.1 was launched with a host of upgrades to the platform includingnew features, an overhauled UI and enhanced functionality to further improve conversion, accessibility and the customer experience.


Last month Convious won in the Heavyweight category at the global Get in the Ring event in Portugal. The award recognises potential in innovative startups.

The new funding will help Convious to recruitsoftware engineers and data scientists. The aim is to have a team of 30 by the end of 2018.
