Embed installs cashless solution at Gamestate Arena in Amsterdam

Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, has provided cashless business management solutions to the newest Gamestate Arena in Amsterdam.

Embed is pleased to announce that it has worked with Jar BV Gamestate on the operator’s sixth venue in Amsterdam. This new attraction opened to the public on 15 November 2019 and provides over 1,250 square metres of fun, making it the biggest arcade hall in the Netherlands and Benelux area.

Visitors can enjoy a wide range of cutting-edge entertainment and attractions at Gamestate Arena, including virtual reality (VR) immersion rooms.

Enhancing the guest experience

Embed’s integrated solution will help to enhance the guest experience, thanks to 180 smartTOUCH card readers. These allow visitors to start playing and enjoying games straight away, without queuing to check their card balance or to add more money to their card. Instead, they can start playing with just a tap or a swipe.

The installation also includes Embed’s self-service kiosk, which collects guests’ personal details when they register their game cards. This allows the operator to offer customised package deals and upsell to guests, by using this data to make more informed business decisions.

“We are really excited to be part of Gamestate’s array of ventures and are truly proud of the partnership we have,” says Rosa Tahmaseb, Embed Managing Director – EMEA. “This partnership reinforces our commitment to offer the best products and services available in the market. When our customers thrive, we thrive. The success of their amusement sites are our success too, and we are fully committed to support and keep fuelling fun in their businesses.”

Embed also recently announced that it is working with Midwest Coin Concepts, a leader in amusement entertainment machines, in order to create unmanned arcades in vacant spaces with small footprints. Together, the companies are transforming small game rooms into fun-filled arcades, thanks to Embed’s emONE Kiosk.
