Celebrations, awards and demonstrations were shared by the tech firm in Orlando

Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, successfully launched STATS, the firm’s new technology insights data visualization dashboard at the IAAPA Expo Orlando last week.

STATS is a robust data and reports visualisation platform developed with and powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enable family entertainment centres to alter visitor experiences, improve operational efficiency, and boost income using data.

Efficient operations

During a press conference, Embed CEO Renee Welsh discussed STATS and what it means to embrace Transformational Technology to become a Future FEC.

“We were ecstatic to see the amazing reception of both prospects and customers towards STATS when we launched it at IAAPA,” said Welsh. “STATS was the demo-in-demand at our booth and the show – with the help of the brilliant representatives from Amazon Web Services, we illuminated show attendees with the benefits of cloud-based solutions such as STATS and the virtues of other Software as a Service (SaaS) products we offer.

“It is not to our surprise that operators are now making the decision to digitize and automate processes such as data collection and consolidating reports. It is exactly what the STATS dashboard is designed to answer. Developing this highly automated data visualization dashboard with flexible widgets will help eliminate the counterproductive data work that operators struggle with and enable them to make real-time, data-driven decisions that drive business revenue and profit.”

With STATS’ detailed, dynamically displayed data reporting, business owners of all sizes can better manage their operations, enhance workforce levels and scheduling, decrease manpower waste, and estimate revenue based on historical data. This cloud-based solution, built with AWS’s worldwide cloud architecture, provides accessibility, security, and low latency.

STATS is joined by eShop, an online shopping portal where Embed customers can conveniently purchase hardware, parts, and accessories anytime, anywhere in just a few clicks; and Staff Merchandise, a series of customizable wristbands, key fobs, and lanyards to match an FEC’s theme.

The Embed Mavericks demonstrated the firm’s latest breakthrough solutions on the show floor such as the Mobile Wallet, KIOSK+, TOOLKIT software package, and smartTOUCH card readers, also hosting Happy Hour festivities every day.

Some clients even made the most of their IAAPA experience by attending Embed 101, an early morning pre-show training and support session where they learnt how to get the most out of their current Embed products.

Embed honoured Fun Factory with a Legacy Award in recognition of being Embed’s first and longest customer in North America; in what the firm describes as a moving and emotional moment that celebrated the tenacity and strength of a long-lasting collaboration.
