Gantner Ticketing, a provider of software for museums, zoos, cultural heritage and visitor attractions, is celebrating the successful launch of its Enviso ticketing solution at Efteling, the largest theme park in the Netherlands.
This transition is the result of nearly two years of careful preparation and development and aims to increase the autonomy of Efteling staff and visitors.
As a result, visitors can conveniently modify their arrival date and make any necessary payments online. Significant improvements have also been made to the access procedures, such as the combination of the required reservation and the entry ticket onto a single carrier, which greatly improves the efficiency of the scanning process.
Enhanced booking processes
With the use of an API, Gantner Ticketing’s time-slot ticketing page has been seamlessly added to the Efteling environment. This not only guarantees an optimal user experience but also strengthens brand consistency by using Efteling’s trustworthy and appealing visual identity to make customers feel at ease during the booking process.
Dynamic pricing is facilitated by the Enviso Widget, which lets users see ticket rates by day within the calendar overview. As a result, they can now plan a visit more easily and flexibly according to pricing and availability. The functionality enhances customer ease and makes the booking process more appealing for guests, while also allowing Efteling to manage its pricing strategy with a more customised approach.
“Gantner Ticketing is delighted with the positive feedback from the Efteling,” says the firm. “It has been an engaging and enjoyable journey for our team. We look forward with enthusiasm to the continuation of our collaboration and the opportunity to achieve new successes in the future!”
Earlier this month, Gantner Ticketing announced a new collaboration with Lost Shore Surf Resort in Scotland which is set to become Europe’s biggest inland surf destination. The attraction in Edinburgh will transform Scottish tourism when it opens in late summer 2024. It will provide a 60-acre country park with an advanced surf lake, high-quality accommodation, a food market, retail, and a wellness spa facility.
