Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems promoted Joe Marshall to the position of UK General Manager. In addition to serving the attractions industry for 32 years, the company provides strategic consultation, service and support worldwide.
Gateway’s international expansion
Headquartered in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, Gateway operates satellite offices in Calgary and central London. The company established a regional UK office in 2012, as a commitment to continued growth and innovation in the area.
Since then, the ticketing and guest experience software group expanded, establishing a remarkable book of business in leisure and attractions. Marshall joined Gateway as a Project Manager in the UK office in 2017, delivering to new and existing clients.
“I am honored and excited to take on this new role,” says Joe Marshall. “I plan to continue to collaborate and grow with our current customers, but also bring new ideas to the table to better meet the unique needs of the attractions here in the UK and Europe.”
Bringing significant experience
Marshall brings 30 years of experience in leadership and technology to the role with Gateway. He worked as a Solution Delivery Manager for Omnico Group, then as Head of Projects for Zonal Retail Data Systems. His experience spans attractions, retail and restaurant spaces in addition to managing projects, people, budgets, and relationships.
“We know that Joe will deliver a seamless transition for our customers as he moves from Project Manager to General Manager,” says Michael Andre, President and CEO of Gateway Ticketing Systems. “He’s built relationships with our customers in the UK and Europe that will serve him well, and we’re excited to see what he will bring to this new leadership role here at Gateway.”
