Listen Technologies, a provider of assistive listening, multi-language audio transmission and live streaming audio solutions, will be heading to InfoComm 2022 in Las Vegas from 4 – 10 June. During the show, the team will be on hand to demonstrate the company’s full range of listening solutions, including the latest additions to its Listen EVERYWHERE and ListenTALK product range.

In addition to this, Listen Technologies is also providing ListenTALK to support all InfoComm-hosted tours. The company provides inclusive audio experiences for any environment, with solutions that can be adapted and scaled to support a venue’s changing needs.

“Over the past two years, Listen Technologies has continued innovating and designing solutions that meet our customers’ evolving needs. We strive to foster inclusion with each of our products, and we are excited to return to InfoComm in person to demonstrate our technologies,” says Maile Keone, president and CEO of Listen Technologies.

Updates to Listen EVERYWHERE

Listen EVERYWHERE streams audio over a Wi-Fi network to smart devices. The solution is compatible with Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids and speakers, as well as telecoil-enabled hearing aids when paired with a neck loop. It is an ideal choice for operators as it is straightforward and affordable for venues to implement.

For users, it means that they can listen through their own devices, allowing them to enjoy the experience regardless of hearing loss, noise, or distance. With the industry’s lowest latency, Listen EVERYWHERE is used by a wide range of venues, such as houses of worship, courtrooms, classrooms, theatres, manufacturing plants, museums, and corporate board rooms.

At the show, attendees can discover the new LWR-1020 Listen EVERYWHERE receiver. This makes the assistive listening system compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). It means that clients can now offer dedicated Listen EVERYWHERE receivers to guests who don’t have their own smartphones, or who choose not to use them. The receiver also supports hearing aid and cochlear implant telecoils when used with a neck loop.

The LWR-1020 receiver is available in the US as an add-on to existing Listen EVERYWHERE servers and is also available in a bundled ADA compliant assistive listening SKU (LWS-10).

The team will also be showcasing the new Listen EVERYWHERE server and private channels feature. This allows operators to create private, password-protected audio channels on their networks.

New ListenTALK functionality

ListenTALK is an award-winning mobile two-way communication system that means users can communicate in any environment, at a safe physical distance. Thanks to a recent firmware update, the solution is now more versatile and it is also easier for interpreters to provide simultaneous language interpretation without needing any extra equipment.

Listen-TALK

InfoComm is an ideal opportunity to show the benefits of ListenTALK in action. The company will be providing the solution for use during Integrated Experience and Show Floor tours at this year’s event.

“We are eager for people to experience the power, reliability, and clarity of ListenTALK during tours at InfoComm and at venues around Las Vegas,” says Keone. “We are honored InfoComm selected ListenTALK to support and enhance participants’ tour experiences with clear audio.”

Fostering inclusivity

Attendees at InfoComm 2022 can also find out more about the new LA-438 and the LA-439 Advanced Neck Loops, which provide a reliable way for listeners with t-coil-equipped hearing aids and cochlear implants to utilize Listen EVERYWHERE and ListenTALK.

The team will also demonstrate the ListenIR and ListenRF assistive listening systems. ListenIR is an infrared (IR) product that offers reliable coverage and a simple way to install a solution for assistive listening, interpretation, and other wireless audio applications. ListenRF operates similarly to ListenIR but transmits sound over radio frequency (RF).

The company‘s products are in use at a wide range of venues, such as NINE9s Sports Bar, Greenvale’s customer tours, the Duracell manufacturing plant, Walnut Street Baptist Church and the Good Shepherd Community Church.

Listen Technologies will be at booth number W1323 in the Conferencing & Collaboration Pavilion. To schedule a media briefing with Listen Technologies at InfoComm, please contact Katye McGregor Bennett by email.

Earlier this month, the company announced the appointment of Kim Franklin as its new vice president of global marketing. Franklin will be responsible for brand strategy, communications, corporate marketing, digital marketing, and PR, in addition to her global marketing obligations. She will also join Listen Technologies’ Executive Team.
