The Social Gaming Group has Oche venues in the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Australia.

Oche, billed as the world’s first ‘gastro-gaming restaurant’, is launching on the Strand in London in July. The tech-driven darts venue is part of the Social Gaming Group.

Serving up sharing plates inspired by global dishes alongside unique cocktails, Oche will offer a distinctive gaming experience when it launches on 14 July.

“The Social Gaming Group is a tech company in hospitality to bring shared happiness to our guests and we are delighted to bring our proven Oche concept to London,” said Troy Warfield, CEO of the Social Gaming Group.

“Oche combines our technologically advanced gaming experience with exceptional curated dishes from Michelin-trained chefs, inspired by cuisines around the world, perfectly paired with uniquely distinctive cocktails, craft beers and wines.”

In the game of darts, the oche is the line behind which the throwing player must stand. “It’s not about the game, it’s about the experience,” Warfield added.

The Social Gaming Group already has Oche venues in Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Australia. The new attraction will be its sixth Oche location.

Tech-driven competitive socialising

Oche London will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as automatic scoring. Technology-driven gaming experiences and competitive socialising are among this year’s biggest attractions trends.

Topgolf, a tech-enabled golf experience, is launching its fourth state-of-the-art venue in the UK this year. Puttshack, a tech-infused mini-golf experience, is expanding across the US.

TOCA Football, dubbed the Topgolf of soccer, is preparing to take its entertainment venues to the US after the successful launch of TOCA Social in London.
