RocketRez, the all-in-one POS for tours and attractions, has partnered with TourOpp Go!, an automated chatbot service delivered through SMS or Whatsapp, and will offer the technology as an integration through its existing platform.
There are many benefits to providing business-to-consumer text message communications. For instance, SMS open rates bear email by nearly 5x, and response rates to SMS marketing are 7.5x higher than emails. Furthermore, studies show that 64% of consumers think companies who text value their time, are progressive and would recommend them to others.
While the existing RocketRez SMS module is a transactional tool that can be used to send information or tickets to customers, TourOpp Go! is a conversational tool that can offer more functions. It can connect to an operator’s website, offline channels and OTA, in order for them to get a notification when customers make a booking. It can then initiate a conversation with that customer.
Available functions include order confirmation, trip reminders, cross-selling/upselling opportunities, FAQs, social media engagement, requests for reviews and more.
New kiosk mode
RocketRez has also announced the release of Kiosk Mode 2.0, which is now available for all of its customers. The upgrade includes significant improvements, such as:
- Significant upgrades to touchscreen design and branding
- New integrations with multiple payment providers, credit cards and chip/pin technology
- Cash payment and dispensing options with a log of cash activity
- Rich, high-definition display of customer photo
- ECommerce style checkout including upselling, cross-selling and cart abandonment.
- Prepaid pass and membership recognition
The company’s all-in-one, cloud-connected system allows clients to deploy their designed online purchase process and show their logo and brand, on a variety of devices, while collecting data that can be managed centrally.
