News
Semnox at IAAPA Brass Ring Awards 2022

The firm’s state-of-the-art technology was recognised in Orlando

Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, has won an IAAPA Brass Ring Award in the best new amusement-related services, equipment, and supplies category.

With LuminOS operating in numerous client locations and over 700 readers deployed, the firm’s customers are starting to reap the benefits of the readers’ multi-play and variable pricing. The Semnox Parafait LuminOS debit card reader was announced as second-place winner at the recent IAAPA Expo in Florida, US.

The product features tap-to-play technology, more than 250 colour options, and multi-language compatibility for display and audio, making it inclusive and user-friendly, as well as aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The system is FCC/CE certified, fully customisable, and detects taps everywhere on the screen.

The FEC ecosystem

Semnox says it is looking forward to developing additional innovative products for the sector to help operators get the most out of emerging technologies while exceeding consumer expectations.

Semnox’s Parafait FEC Solution software is a comprehensive ecosystem of integrated solutions for entertainment venues, including a variety of self-service kiosks for booking and redemption, SmartFun – a mobile app for FECs and RFID readers.

Semnox Americas’ chief executive officer Kiran Karanki said: “The IAAPA Orlando show is always something that we look forward to, where we meet with our customers, prospects, industry peers, and partners. It has always been an excellent opportunity for us to seek feedback from our customers and channel the same toward the product roadmap.”

IAAPA was created in 1918 and represents over 100 countries’ major industry attractions and supplier firms, consultants, and individual members.

The association’s global events and conferences give vital tools and information, as well as bringing together industry leaders from amusement parks, attractions, water parks, resorts, FECs and more. The annual IAAPA Expo, held in Florida, attracted over 25,000 qualified buyers this year.
