Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, has revealed that it is now the technology partner for Palooza Park in Marrakech, which marks the firm’s first amusement park project in Morocco.
The park went live with Semnox technologies in October 2023, following a migration from a previous system.
Comprehensive ticketing solution
Weather-proof deducting agents, barcode-enabled disposable wristbands, ticket sales, entry validation, and other solutions have been used throughout the attraction. The park has also made guest admission easier through the use of Access Gates powered by Tixera’s XCESS Reader (with Barcode Scanner).
Furthermore, the attraction offers three quick-service food and beverage (F&B) counters outfitted with Semnox POS technology. The system manages sales at the cafeteria and restaurants to result in a smoother and more efficient experience for the park and its guests.
Othman Benabdeljelil, owner of Palooza Park, comments: “We have been seeking a comprehensive ticketing solution that can effectively address access control and F&B requirements. We are pleased to adopt Tixera Park’s solution, and the transition from our old system has been seamless.”
Meghashyam, sales head – MEA Parks, Semnox, adds: “The project has been particularly noteworthy in its approach to comprehensively understanding the customer’s journey and requirements.
“We accomplished this by working closely with the Palooza Park team during the implementation phases. The park’s team was able to utilize the benefits of Semnox’s comprehensive solution and our team’s experience with multiple such implementations. We are excited to welcome Palooza Park on board and extend our best wishes to them!”
Earlier this month, Semnox Solutions announced a partnership with Wokivia, a new concept in edutainment centres. Wokivia’s parks are a combination of playgrounds and children’s museums. It has established three parks across the west and northeast of Mexico, and is now expanding its reach into the southeast with a new venue in Merida, Yucatán.
