Cindy Emerick Vice President of Attraction Development Mattel Adventure Park

Cindy Emerick, vice president of attraction development at Mattel Adventure Park, is a designer and engineer with more than 30 years of experience in themed entertainment. Her expertise is setting a new standard of excellence in theme park engineering and innovation. She has created and designed many of the world’s top attractions, including thrill coasters, family coasters, media-based robotic arms, flying theatres, ride motion theatres and dark ride experiences incorporating major IPs.

At Mattel Adventure Park, there will be two “gravity-defying” Hot Wheels coasters, named ‘Hot Wheels Bone Shaker: The Ultimate Ride’ and ‘Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer’. The former is an 84-foot-tall family coaster featuring the hot rod skull design. The latter offers a double loop and two corkscrews.

“We are taking thrills to new heights with the Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer,” said Cindy Emerick in 2023. “The Twin Mill Racer track layout features a wicked corkscrew threaded through two vertical loops that authenticates the Hot Wheels experience. We are excited to bring this iconic racing playset to life in a heart-pounding and exhilarating thrill ride.”

Mattel Adventure Park, which is opening first in Arizona and then in Kansas City, includes a Barbie Beach House and Thomas & Friends attractions. Fans of Masters of the Universe will enjoy the He-Man vs. Skeletor Laser Tag experience, a laser tag arena designed to look like the iconic Castle Grayskull fortress. Other highlights include an immersive mini-golf experience with nine holes inspired by brands such as Magic 8 Ball and Pictionary, and a huge Uno-themed climbing structure.
