Daryl White is the executive vice president of global licensing and business development at Falcon’s Beyond, a fully integrated development enterprise for IP-driven parks, resorts, media and merchandise. He is responsible for actively sourcing licensing opportunities and nurturing existing relationships with Falcon’s Beyond’s licensing partners.
White champions the daily operations of the Falcon’s licensing IP portfolio and finds, develops, coordinates, and implements business development plans designed to attract new business opportunities. Additionally, White represents the company at virtual and in-person trade shows and events.
Before moving into his role at Falcon’s Beyond, White served in the same capacity for Falcon’s Creative Group for nearly four years. Prior to joining Falcon’s, he was president of CAVU Designwerks, which specialises in ride system development. He was director of engineering, parts and services at Dynamic Attractions before that. At Dynamic Attractions, White managed projects and business relationships while working with the sales team to develop and present amusement ride proposals to clients around the world.
During his career, White has developed projects for clients including Sea World, Lionsgate Entertainment World, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Genting SkyWorlds, and Futuroscope.
In a joint venture with leading luxury resort company Meliá Hotels International, Falcon’s Beyond is also creating themed entertainment destinations connected to select Meliá resorts. The latest development is the Katmandu Park in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, alongside the Falcon’s Resort by Meliá.
“One of the next projects is building out Falcon’s Central here in Punta Cana. On the land between the resort and the theme park, we will have some themed location-based entertainment, bringing in some individual brands that we are working with, as well as some of our own custom brands and we will bring in restaurants and retail as well,” White told blooloop.
