Larry Giles is the senior director of park attractions at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. An influencer in the theme park industry for more than 30 years, Giles has brought world-class attractions to many SeaWorld theme parks. Giles previously served as vice president of design and engineering at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, a European-themed adventure park in Virginia. Owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, Busch Gardens Williamsburg is home to more than 50 rides and attractions across more than 100 acres.
Pantheon, the world’s fastest multi-launch roller coaster, is launching at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in March 2022. The record-breaking coaster reaches speeds of 73 mph and boasts four launches, five air-time hills and two inversions. Pantheon is joining Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s portfolio of seven world-class coasters.
“Pantheon is going to be non-stop action for riders,” Giles said. “We’ve designed it so that the experience is changing all the time and will keep riders wondering what’s next. “Multiple launches, speed changes, a sharp drop and backwards acceleration are just a few of Pantheon’s one-of-a kind traits.”
