Yvette Whittaker Chief Corporate Officer Falcon's Beyond

Yvette Whittaker, chief corporate officer at Falcon’s Beyond, has spent the last two decades developing an encyclopaedic knowledge of the company’s clients, vendors and projects. She has been instrumental in the development of Falcon’s from day one. Her industry knowledge and experienced perspective help Falcon’s to make strategic decisions that positively impact it.

Falcon’s Creative Group, the entertainment design firm, launched Falcon’s Beyond Global, a fully integrated development enterprise for IP-driven parks, resorts, media and merchandise, in January 2021. In August 2022, Falcon’s Beyond confirmed plans for a new global leisure entertainment resort brand in collaboration with one of the world’s leading hotel organisations, Meliá Hotels International.

The first resort, Falcon’s Resort by Meliá | All Suites Punta Cana, will involve a multi-phase transformation of two existing Meliá properties in the Dominican Republic. The first phase is expected to open in December 2022. It includes an all-inclusive resort with multiple premium bars and restaurants, pools, swim-up suites, a water park, and a kids’ camp. Phase two is due to debut in 2023.

Designed and constructed by Falcon’s, Katmandu Park will be located just steps away from the resort. It is scheduled to open in early 2023. “Katmandu Park | Punta Cana will deliver an unprecedented theme park experience based on the popular characters of our very own Katmandu fantastical universe,” said Falcon’s Beyond CEO Cecil D. Magpuri.

One notable moment in Falcon’s history was the award-winning Dragon’s Treasure attraction in Macau, a groundbreaking and immersive 360-degree dome experience that earned media coverage around the world. “I was nervous because I had never been to a project opening of this magnitude, on the other side of the world,” Whittaker told blooloop. “I got the chance to see the people enjoy the show and be amazed. They were freakin’ blown away! Literally, their mouths were open.”
