Zero Latency has raised$7 million funding totake their VR game to new venues in the US and Japan.
The Australian VR company's V Play Reality game is a free-roam, multi-player, interactive, virtual reality experience.V Play reality has opened to rave reviews at Main Event in Pointe Orlando. Up to six players at a time can roam freelythrough a warehouse-like space. Currently three different scenario options are available. Players creating their own adventure and can interact with each other in the games.
Zero Latency currently has a venue in Melbourne, three in the US, one in Tokyo at a Sega theme park and another set to open soon in Madrid.
The Australian Financial Review reports that funding has beenraised from existing backer Carthona Capital and clients of Bell Potter. Expansion isthroughpartnerships with venues licensed to run the VR games.
