Assetnest to share safety tips at Birmingham expo

News
Pole Star Can you demonstrate your attraction is safe

Attendees will receive insight into keeping the fun safe for guests

Assetnest, a centralised asset management system designed by asset managers for asset managers, will attend a major industry event for the first time today.

The company will make its debut at Family Attraction Expo, in Birmingham this week, sharing the benefits of its brand-new product, Assetnest with attendees. The system offers its partners a simple-to-use, paperless system that helps them to safely manage their on-site assets.

Knowledge and expertise

Company consultant Alex Payne will be one of the Expo’s keynote speakers, providing expert advice on how venues can ensure they keep their theme parks and attractions safe.

Payne will be sharing his wealth of experience from almost three decades in the industry, including a stint at the UK’s Blackpool Pleasure Beach, talking about the importance of ensuring safety and, just as importantly, how this can be demonstrated.

The keynote speaker will also offer attendees a free toolkit download which features a step-by-step guide to keeping attractions safe.

“I am looking forward to working alongside Pole Star and the Assetnest team again, and, on behalf of Pole Star, sharing my wealth of knowledge and expertise on a topic which is held very close to my heart,” says Payne.

Keeping it simple

As Assetnest’s new asset management app continues to develop, the firm looks to engage with new individuals and partners to create an industry focus group to share its thoughts and feedback on the app to date.

Managing director Justine Shepherd says: “We are really excited to be at the Family Attraction Expo for the first time. For over a decade, Pole Star has been helping companies to look after their physical assets including rides, buildings and equipment, making sure they are operating safely.

“It’s not complicated. A really good operator will know the answers to ‘What assets do I have? Where are they exactly? What condition are they in and can I demonstrate they have been properly, inspected, and maintained, and am I looking after them properly? Do I have the evidence documented to back up my good practice?”

“Our clients range from rail to leisure, but one thing they all have in common is wanting to adopt the very best practice of managing their assets.”

Assetnest will be at Family Attraction Expo on Stand FA854 from 2-3 November 2023. Tickets are available online.

Payne recently spoke to the industry at IAAPA Expo in London, marking the event’s first appearance in the UK capital for over a decade.
