Attractions.io, a leading creator of mobile visitor apps, has created a new social distancing package and support program, to help attractions reopen safely after COVID-19.
Attractions.io is pleased to announce the launch of the new social distancing package and support program. This can help attractions reopen with safe social distancing practices in place, in as little as two weeks.
This package combines several of the key features of the Attractions.io platform which are ideal for capacity management and socially-distanced attractions. It allows visitors to use tickets on their phone rather than paper tickets, as well as ordering food in-app to reduce contact with team members. It also allows for virtual queueing, meaning guests can avoid potential crowding hotspots.
Helping operators and visitors to be safe
From the operator point of view, the package allows them to view heat maps and send targeted messages to visitors while on-site, as well as helping them to collect feedback from guests. The company’s technology is already used by many attractions providers across four continents and in several languages, from household names such as Merlin Entertainment to smaller family-favourites like Paulton’s Park.
To make this technology more accessible, Attractions.io has also announced an accompanying support program. This can be tailored to each operator’s needs and includes consultancy, resources and financial support.
Mark Locker, CEO of Attractions.io said: “Having obsessed over the digital guest journey for over a decade, we can see that now more than ever it’s going to be essential to utilise technology to manage the on-site experience and keep guests safe.
“Our team has been hard at work packaging our proven technology together in a way that’s tailored to the needs of attractions as they start to reopen, and is quick to deploy and easy to access”.
Locker will host a webinar with to provide further information, with Peter O’Dare, Attractions.io’s Head of Product. This takes place on Tuesday 5 May at 4 pm BST and registration is now available here.
The company also recently hosted a special COVID-19 webinar to support visitor attractions.
