Bluey is expanding its presence in the world of location-based entertainment

Bluey‘s LBE presence is about to expand even further, as the Blue Heeler dog from Brisbane is making her way to Alton Towers for Easter.

From 23 March, Bluey will be available for character interactions in Alton Towers’ CBeebies Land, which is also celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

Bianca Sammut, divisional director for Alton Towers Resort, said: “As a fellow Australian, I am personally very excited to welcome Bluey to the resort. I know this joy and excitement will be shared by so many families across the UK.

“The 2024 season will mark the 10th anniversary of CBeebies Land and Bluey’s arrival is one of many ways we are looking to make it memorable for young guests and their families.”

Natasha Spence, head of attractions and live events at BBC Studios, added: “Bluey has captured the hearts of children and adults alike all over the world and we are delighted that our much-loved brand is coming to CBeebies Land for guests to enjoy.”

Created and written by Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios, Bluey is the top show on CBeebies in the UK.

Bluey is also heading to Kew Gardens and Wakehurst this spring. Both botanical gardens will be home to interactive experiences inspired by the hit animated TV show.

New Bluey LBE experiences

The upcoming Bluey experience is available at Kew from 29 March until 14 April, and at Wakehurst from 27 March through 14 April.

In the US, an immersive experience inspired by the TV show is coming to Camp in Chicago later this year following a sold-out launch in Los Angeles.

In Brisbane, Australia, a year-round Bluey experience called Bluey’s World is scheduled to open in August 2024.
