Wild Oasis is set to open this spring

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has unveiled its new Wild Oasis zone, home to a new drop tower ride, interactive climbing structures, and a splash pad.

Located in the park’s Jungala area and opening this spring, Wild Oasis is billed as North America‘s most immersive kid-friendly adventure realm.

Themed to the beauty and biodiversity of the rainforest, Wild Oasis will feature Habitat Hideaway, a new multi-species habitat home to capybaras, giant anteaters, squirrel monkeys and tropical birds.

The Tree Top Drop is a 35-foot drop tower with an immersive multimedia experience. On the cenote-inspired ride, guests will be surrounded by jungle scenes displayed on screens.

Highlights in the new realm also include the Canopy Climb attraction with four levels of climbing structures, 200 feet of horizontal climbing trails, and vertical climbs reaching 45 feet high.

Enchanted Falls is an interactive splash pad and play area with fountains and spray towers, while Rainforest Quest is a self-guided scavenger hunt.

“We’re incredibly excited to introduce the Wild Oasis – a vibrant, rainforest-inspired realm with amazing animal habitats, thrilling attractions, and interactive play areas that will entertain, educate and inspire our guests to cherish the wonders of the natural world,” said Jeff Davis, park president of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

New attractions at Busch Gardens parks

Over at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, North America‘s longest inverted family coaster is set to open this year. The Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge is described as the park’s most immersive family attraction to date.

“We can’t wait for our guests to experience all we have in store for them in 2025, especially our exciting all-new attraction and immersive realm,” said Marc Swanson, CEO of United Parks & Resorts.

“These family-friendly attractions and experiences give everyone more ways to enjoy our parks and make lifelong memories together.”
