Convious, a leading eCommerce platform for the leisure industry, has announced the launch of its Mobile Food Ordering technology. This allows guests to order food and beverage options directly from their own mobile device and avoid queues, leaving more time to enjoy the attractions. They can also track their order in real-time.
The solution has already proved popular at Avonturenpark Hellendoorn in the Netherlands, which first partnered with Convious 12 months ago in order to enhance and digitise the guest experience.
Enhancing the guest experience

With this new functionality, visitors can order food and drink from anywhere on-site, and can even place their order before they visit. The benefits for guests are clear – they avoid queues and can spend more time having fun.
But there are numerous benefits for the operator too. Mobile ordering allows the kitchen to streamline operations as it can see all order contents alongside the pick-up time and an estimated start time. Plus, mobile food ordering can lead to an increase of 25% in order sizes.
