Disney Cruise Line is showcasing a themed element for the first-ever Haunted Mansion-themed bar onboard the new Disney Treasure ship, which sets sail later this year.
At the Haunted Mansion Parlor, there will be creepy cocktails, exclusive products, themed decor (including the iconic wallpaper), and characters from the Haunted Mansion attraction at Disney parks and “some new seafaring arrivals”.
Now unveiled for the themed F&B experience is a new sculpture, which is being crafted at a dedicated Walt Disney Imagineering workshop at Disney World.
The sculpture was modelled in the image of Disney legend Rolly Crump, who played a key role in designing the original Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland.

“Six decades later, the Haunted Mansion Parlor will unlock the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion saga for Disney Cruise Line guests,” Disney said in a blog post.
“The venue will be imbued with Crump’s unique brand of humor and is a proud continuation of his legacy, celebrating the weird and the fantastical.”
Crump’s original vision for the Haunted Mansion was a companion attraction in New Orleans Square called the ‘Museum of the Weird’.
His concept included a character that appeared to be melting like a candle, which is why Crump’s memorial bust features sculpted drips on the side of the face.
It also includes a memorial plaque that reads: “Brother Roland, forever revered for embracing the weird.”
Parks-themed venues at Disney Cruise Line
The design of the Haunted Mansion Parlor is based on a first-class drawing room on a classic cruise liner from the golden age, as well as the Disney parks attraction.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor is one of several Disney parks-themed venues coming to the Disney Treasure.
These include Skipper Society, a lounge based on the Jungle Cruise attraction, and Periscope Pub, themed to the 1954 film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and the former Walt Disney World attraction.
Additionally, the ship’s 2,000-square-foot Tomorrow Tower Suite is based on Epcot‘s World Discovery neighbourhood.
