Walt Disney Studios Park is in the process of becoming Disney Adventure World

Disneyland Paris has opened World Premiere, the new entrance to Walt Disney Studios Park as part of its €2 billion transformation.

Walt Disney Studios Park is undergoing a huge redevelopment and nearly doubling in size. It will become Disney Adventure World when the new World of Frozen land opens in 2026.

As part of the rebrand, the park has overhauled its entrance area, with the former Disney Studio 1 building near the gates now open as World Premiere.

After going through World Premiere, guests will arrive in the World Premiere Plaza, inspired by Broadway and the West End.

This reimagined entrance area immerses guests in a Hollywood premiere and includes the Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique, and Disney and Los Angeles theming.

World Premiere Plaza serves as a gateway to Walt Disney Studios Park‘s immersive worlds, such as Avengers Campus and the upcoming Frozen land.

The team at Walt Disney Imagineering is now putting the finishing touches on the North Mountain and programming audio-animatronics for the Frozen Ever After attraction in World of Frozen.

Disneyland Paris has also shared new details for its upcoming ride based on The Lion King and announced a new Up attraction, both part of the new Disney Adventure World.

Construction will begin this autumn on the first-ever land themed to the 1994 animated film, as well as the new attraction.

“Disney Adventure World will be the culmination of an ambitious creative vision, evolving from what we call ‘how it’s done’ soundstages to celebratory theatres and adventures that come to life in immersive areas,” Natacha Rafalski, présidente of Disneyland Paris, told blooloop in a recent interview.

In more news, Disneyland Paris set to open a Star Wars-themed F&B experience called Lounge Lightspeed where guests can meet Disney’s innovative BDX droids.
