Fantawild Holdings, a leading one-stop solution provider in the theme park industry, has announced that construction has begun on a series of Boonie Bears themed projects in the city of Yichun in Jiangxi Province. To mark the milestone, a ceremony was held, attended by Liu Daoqiang, Fantawild’s President; Yu Xiuming, Municipal Party Secretary; and Yan Yun, Mayor and Vice Party Secretary of Yichun.
In addition, at the recent 2021 Guizhou Promotion Conference for Culture and Tourism Industry, Fantawild announced that it will build a new park in the region, Guizhou Glorious Orient.
New Boonie Bears Land & Water World
Residents and visitors to Yichun will be able to enjoy a Boonie Bears Land, covering over 250,000 square metres, and a Boonie Bears Water World that will cover over 73,000 square metres. Both new attractions will include accommodation, food and beverage offerings, shopping and more. They will be based on the popular Boonie Bears IP, featuring characters, scenes and stories from the animation.
The modern parks will incorporate the latest technology for a fully interactive, immersive experience. The development will boost the city’s entertainment and tourism industry, and Fantawild will work closely with Yan Yun and his team to plan and develop the project.
Fantawild Guizhou Glorious Orient
Meanwhile, in Guizhou, Fantawild will build a new park themed around China’s modernisation. Guizhou Glorious Orient will showcase how the province has played a key role in the modern history of the country. This will join Fantawild’s portfolio of other Glorious Orient theme parks, in cities like Ganzhou and Ningbo, offering a modern, edutainment experience.
Guizhou Daily reports that “the new Guizhou Glorious Orient park will present to visitors the charm of combining advanced technology and culture with an interactive and immersive experience.”
The state-of-the-art park will feature technology such as AR and VR, as well as a motion-tracked boat ride and a panoramic trackless spinning theatre, allowing guests to learn more about China’s history. It will have over 10 large-scale themed attractions, alongside several outdoor attractions, restaurants and shops, and food and beverage offerings.
Earlier this year, Fantawild celebrated the May holidays in China with several special events at its parks, from costume parades and firework shows to hot air balloons and a Boonie Bears-themed family fun run.
