Virtual racing experiences on offer at Ferrari World

The world’s first Ferrari-themed esports arena is now open at Yas Island’s Ferrari World theme park in Abu Dhabi.

Billed as a state-of-the-art attraction, the esports arena offers unique racing experiences. It includes 20 Gran Turismo driving simulators, with 14 for adults and six for younger visitors.

It also features three Formula 1 simulators for virtual racing across nine official tracks, including iconic circuits like Monza, Imola, Silverstone, and Yas Marina. Each month, the esports arena will introduce a new track, offering new challenges and experiences.

The new venue also includes gaming stations equipped with high-performance PCs, the latest consoles, and professional-grade equipment. Lagotronics Projects, the media-based attractions specialist, took the lead in managing the technical aspects of the audio-visual and lighting installations within the arena.

“This state-of-the-art facility is designed to immerse visitors in the exhilarating world of virtual racing like never before,” Faisal Al Nuaimi, general manager of Ferrari World Yas Island, said in a previous news release.

“Our goal is to continuously enhance the park’s offerings, catering to diverse preferences and ensuring there is always something new to experience at the world’s leading theme park,” he added.

“This new attraction emphasises our commitment to strengthening tourism in Abu Dhabi and beyond, aligning with the city’s tourism objectives.”

State-of-the-art gaming venue

Owned and operated by Miral Experiences, Ferrari World Yas Island is home to world-class rides, attractions and shows. These include Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest coaster, and Mission Ferrari, an immersive mega-coaster.

Also found on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s leisure and entertainment destination, are Warner Bros. World, Yas Waterworld, and SeaWorld.

Additionally, the island is home to Clymb Abu Dhabi, 10 hotels with more than 3,500 rooms, a golf course, a beach and a shopping mall.
