Gateway's Steve Bell to serve on IAAPA NARAC Committee

Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has announced that Steve Bell has been selected to serve on the IAAPA North American Regional Advisory Committee in 2020.

Gateway is proud to announce that Steve Bell, who works for the company as a Business Solutions Architect, has been chosen to serve on IAAPA’s North American Regional Advisory Committee (NARAC). This committee is formed of attractions industry leaders who come together to help guide the association.

NARAC is a volunteer committee that focuses on North America, assisting IAAPA in the creation of events, forums, educational session and networking opportunities.

Attractions industry experience

Bell has worked with Gateway Ticketing Systems for ten years and has 18 years of experience in the attractions industry in total. He has already volunteered for IAAPA for three years, meaning he has a good level of insight into the association. This experience will stand him in good stead when it comes to representing the interests of the wider attractions industry across the region.

The committee is made up of many widely respected leaders in the industry. This includes the Chairman, Ted Molter, who is the Chief Marketing Officer at the San Diego Zoo. Bell will also keep his place on the IAAPA North American Manufacturers and Suppliers Sub-Committee.

“I am beyond honoured to be selected to serve on the Advisory Committee,” says Bell. “I look forward to serving the best interests of our vibrant attractions community in North America. I’m ready to contribute to this group and IAAPA.”

“We are excited to have Steve join the North American Regional Advisory Committee this year,” says John Hallenbeck, Regional Vice President, IAAPA North America, “Member volunteers are the lifeblood of IAAPA. They help us to best serve the attractions industry, and Steve’s passion, expertise and enthusiasm will bring a great deal to the table.”

Gateway Ticketing Systems also recently announced that it is providing a new purchase and admission solution for Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in Canada.
