The two day conference featured exchange of information on leveraging the Galaxy® product suite for maximum revenue growth and operational efficiency.  Customers, prospects and Gateway representatives from ten countries shared tips and tricks, learning about new and upcoming enhancements to Gateway’s products.

Disneyland Paris provided the attendees with exclusive insight into both how they use Galaxy currently and how the Galaxy solution has evolved over the past 10 years. The behind the scenes tour of their Galaxy installations provided an overview of how they use business intelligence, and enabled attendees to see their ticket areas, turnstiles, pass fulfilment centre and advance order ticket fulfilment area.  The two days included something for everyone, from product training to roundtable product roadmap discussions to presentations on product features and complimentary industry solutions.

Nick Thomas, Head of Commercial Performance at Historic Scotland and two-time Euro UGM attendee, said, “Once again the European User Group was of great benefit to Historic Scotland. Of particular interest was the information on Galaxy Roam and the eGalaxy Mobile developments. As always, the enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism of the Gateway staff was first class, giving us a renewed determination to reap the benefits of Galaxy.”

Scott Lobaugh, Channel Sales Manager at Gateway, said, “We had representatives from around the world attend the conference. It’s amazing to see how so many people from different places all live and breathe the same passion for this industry. Gathering such a group of people together makes for a powerful experience…it’s a great opportunity for them to hear what’s new and what’s coming in the product, and it’s also extremely valuable networking event. Our goal is to continue providing a deeper level of interaction among our international customer base.”

The Gateway Ticketing Systems management and employees extend their thanks to all of the attendees for their participation and look forward to next year’s European User Group meeting.
