EOI for digital imaging systems sought by Hong Kong’s Ocean Park and new Water World

Hong Kong’s Ocean Park leisure destination is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced digital imaging operators to provide image capture services across the resort.

The contract will include Ocean Park Water World which is slated to open in 2019.

The successful party will be retained from March 2018 to February 2022 to design, supply, install, maintain and operate digital imaging systems and products.

The park is looking for agility and continuous innovation to maximise guest engagement and purchasing.

There are currently 19 photo capture points installed in Ocean Park, including 15 fixed booths and 4 roving setups located near exhibits and attractions.

From July 2015 to June 2016, Ocean Park welcomed 6 million visitors. Imaging transactions numbered over 200,000 for the same period.

EOI Requirements

Respondents are expected to possess and illustrate the following qualities in the submission:

  1. The technical knowhow and experience of supplying and managing digital imaging operations in established theme parks, water parks or attractions.
  2. Commitment of technical support on site to ensure non-interrupted services and training on photography skillset. Respondents should advise current team structure for technical support and relevant experience.
  3. Existing customers’ reference and profile.
  4. Financially sustainable with audited financial statements for the last 3 years

The Expression of Interest submission must be deposited into the tender box situated at the Administration Building Annex of Ocean Park Corporation, Wong Chuk Hang Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong SAR, China, on or before 3:30pm on 28 June 2017 (Hong Kong time).

Late submissions will not be considered.
