Honours included the new Image Award, which was won by Brogent Technologies

IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, has revealed the winners of the IAAPA Brass Ring Best Exhibit Awards at IAAPA Expo Asia 2024.

Today, the brass ring is a symbol of remarkable achievement. The tradition dates back to the 1800s, when rings were hung on carousels to provide an entertaining challenge to riders. Successfully catching a ring while riding the carousel won a prize, which may include a free ride. The majority of rings were made of iron but some were brass, so catching a brass ring was considered a top prize.

The IAAPA Brass Ring Awards celebrate this history by recognising outstanding achievements in the international attractions industry. They are regarded as one of the sector’s highest accolades. Applicants are assessed based on their booth design, branding, staffing, product in the booth, and overall appeal.

This year, IAAPA has presented the Image Award for the first time. This award honours the most outstanding/best overall exhibit booth at IAAPA Expo Asia, and exhibitors were not required to apply to enter.
