ICON Experiences adds Randy Josselyn to leadership team

He will provide technology and e-commerce consulting solutions to improve the visitor experience at ICON attractions.

ICON Experiences has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Randy Josselyn, a guest journey expert who has taken on the role of vice president of experiences.

In his new position, Josselyn will provide technology and e-commerce consulting solutions to improve the visitor experience for ICON Experiences projects. These include the Capital Wheel, a Ferris wheel in Maryland.

“Randy is a respected, dynamic, industry leader and we are fortunate to have him lead our guest journey growth initiatives,” said Eli Stovall, managing partner at ICON Experiences. 

“As technology continues to become increasingly integral to our industry, we want to innovate status quo solutions to better equip us to deliver the best customer experiences.”

Over the years, Josselyn has worked with various museums, theme parks, water parks, zoos and aquariums. He spent nearly 20 years working for the Wild Rivers water park and Disney parks.

After this, he founded the Team Trajectory consulting firm, which specialised in ticketing, technology, e-commerce and best practices for the attractions industry.

Before joining ICON Experiences, he oversaw Gateway Ticketing‘s wildlife and conservation division. He expanded the company’s services to include ticketing strategy for themed attractions, museums, zoos and aquariums.

In 2020, Randy was named a Power 10 in the Blooloop 50 Theme Park Influencer List for creating and hosting a series of webinars during the pandemic. These became a valued resource for many working in the attractions industry.

ICON Experiences provides advisory, development and management services. As well as the Capital Wheel at National Harbor, ICON operates the St. Louis Wheel at Union Station.
