KD Theming Technologies are creating a new £4-million family-themed attraction for Oakwood Theme Park, Wales.

The full details of the new attraction has yet to be fully revealed however it will include a London street scene with famous landmarks like the Tower of London, Nelson’s Column and Big Ben as well as black cab rides. There will also be a series of “magical ride experiences” which will feature a pirate-themed log flume water ride with a 12-metre-tall sculpted skull.
Oakwood Theme Park Director, Dominic Jones, said, “We’re delighted that KD Theming Technologies agreed to help us create our magical new attraction.
“They’re reputation and attention to detail is second to none and, having had the opportunity to get a sneak preview of what they have created, I can’t wait for it to be unveiled to our visitors.”
KD Theming Technologies are world leaders in the design, manufacture and installation of theme park ride decoration, seasonal displays, animation, animatronics and theming. The Huddersfield based company have provided theming for the Legoland Hotel in Windsor, the Legoland Discovery Centre in Manchester and the SpongeBob Squarepants ride at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
