World’s largest indoor theme park

The world records awarded to the park are:

  • World’s Largest Indoor Theme Park. With an enclosed size of 397,064 square metres (4,271,783 square feet), the park exceeds Warner Brothers Abu Dhabi, the previous record holder at 153,000 square meters (1.65mn square feet).
  • World’s Largest Aquarium. Chimelong breaks its own record, which was set at the adjacent Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in 2014. The theme park features a combined 75,350,969 litres of tanks (16,574,889 gallons). 38 aquarium tanks are housed in the venue, which is home to almost 300 species.
  • World’s Largest Aquarium Tank. The park’s largest tank has a capacity of 56,450,136 litres (12,417,288 gallons), which again breaks the record previously set by Chimelong.
  • World’s Largest Indoor Artificial Wave. The park’s record-breaking main tank is fitted with machinery capable of producing waves up to 3.2m (10 feet 6 inches).
  • World’s Largest Living Coral Reef Exhibit. The 2,848,562 litre (626,595 gallon) exhibit is the largest of its type, and comprises 10 specialised coral tanks.
  • World’s Highest Seated Capacity Motion Simulator. The Bermuda Storm simulator ride is unique in scale, with a capacity of 304 people on a single platform.
  • World’s Largest Curved Projection Screen. The Bermuda Storm also features an immense projection screen, with a surface area of over 1,682 square meters.

Legacy Entertainment was selected to design and build an innovative new water park in Uzbekistan earlier this year. This will serve as the anchor attraction of an upcoming integrated resort development in Tashkent, which will feature unique water attractions, a themed hotel, immersive dining, live entertainment, and more.
