Palace Entertainment has announced a new licensing agreement with Fred Rogers Productions, the producer of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and more.
Through the multi-year licensing agreement, six US-based Palace Entertainment theme parks will introduce programming inspired by IPs including Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Alma’s Way, Donkey Hodie and Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
Guests will enjoy immersive experiences and interactions with characters from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, including special events and shows, at the following parks:
Dutch Wonderland in Pennsylvania, Adventureland in Iowa, Castle Park in California, Lake Compounce in Connecticut, Idlewild & SoakZone in Pennsylvania, and Story Land in New Hampshire.

“Our new relationship with Palace Entertainment will bring our characters and brands to families across the country,” said Christopher Arnold, Fred Rogers Productions’ chief operating officer. “The experiences we create together will foster moments of joy and connection for all families.”
Dutch Wonderland has already launched the new licensing partnership and is offering character interactions with Daniel Tiger, Katerina Kittycat, Miss Elaina, O the Owl and Prince Wednesday.
These characters from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood are rotating on a bi-weekly basis until the last weekend of October.
“We are always looking for new ways to offer our visitors unique entertainment and more reasons to visit,” said Palace Entertainment’s chief executive officer John Reilly.
Family-friendly entertainment
He added: “Fred Rogers Productions values the same family-friendly entertainment as our organization, they are a natural fit to help us bring beloved IP characters to six of our amusement parks across the country.”
Per a press release, Palace Entertainment plans to expand its partnership with Fred Rogers Productions in the future.
Palace Entertainment is the US subsidiary of Parques Reunidos. The company hosts millions of visitors annually at more than 20 locations across the country.
Earlier this year, it was reported that private equity firm EQT had initiated a strategic review of Parques Reunidos that could lead to a sale of its US business.
