Following a successful year, the team is looking forward to meeting clients old and new at the trade show

P&P Projects, a provider of turnkey design-build services for themed entertainment & leisure experiences, will be exhibiting next week at IAAPA Expo 2022 in Orlando, Florida. The team will be coming to the trade show with fresh, valuable experience from recent projects, on top of over three decades worth of design-build projects in its portfolio.

Reflecting on the last few years, CEO Philipp van Stratum says it has been an educational period for the firm: “The past two years have taught us many things, as it stimulated us to work in new, innovative ways. One of the most important is retaining a constant sense of flexibility. The world is rapidly moving, changing and shifting, and we have to adapt.”

P&P has worked on a number of successful projects around the world, including the award-winning Underlandet at Liseberg and the popular Jurassic World Adventure dark ride at Universal Beijing Resort.

Recent projects

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the company has not slowed down. This year, it has completed projects for a number of well-known clients.

For example, it worked on Josefinas Kaiserliche Zauberreise, a repurposing of an existing family boat ride at Europa-Park, as well as being involved in the design and realisation of a new indoor amusement park in Camden, called Babylon Park London. Services provided for this project included the development of the complete experience design (from storylines to characters, to attractions and facilities) as well as the production of the intergalactic thematic sets and interiors.

The firm also helped to develop Science Fiction: Voyage to the Edge of Imagination, a new exhibition at London’s Science Museum, working in partnership with Framestore, a visual effects specialist.

In addition to this, it has delivered a number of projects for both the Disney Cruise Line and the Disney Parks, bringing to life world-renowned IPs, combining its expertise in design and engineering with its craftsmanship to realise high-quality experiences. Plus, the firm has created new storylines during its recent projects.

P&P Projects continues to grow

Speaking about the company’s collaborative approach and its mission to ‘think in possibilities’, Ifat Caspi, CCO, says: “During our projects, we dive into the DNA of our client and their scope of works in order to craft the desired end result in the most fitting way. We share the same goal: to deliver the best possible experience.”

More projects are on the horizon, allowing P&P Projects to continue this process with clients like Warner Bros. in Europe and market leaders in the US. The company is also developing a turnkey themed entertainment concept with Grupo Vidanta, Latin America’s leading resort developer.

P&P Projects is expanding as well, having opened a new location in the Netherlands and added to its design and projection teams.

With an industry standard that is constantly rising, P&P Projects is able to cater to growing market trends thanks to its end-to-end expertise, covering both design and production. The company’s portfolio has evolved in recent years as the experience economy continues to develop, showing an expanded network of clients including cruise lines, resorts, global brands and more.

Caspi adds: “It is exciting. As experts in the field of ‘experience’, we can tailor to these needs and provide our turnkey design-build expertise to anyone who is keen to offer an immersive experience.”

The P&P Projects team is looking forward to sharing more information with attendees at IAAPA Expo 2022. Attendees can book a meeting with the team via this link.
