Ride Entertainment, world leader in providing sales, operations, financial partnerships and installations to the attractions industry, is now representing Metallbau-Emmeln GmbH.
The German company, founded in 1968, is known for creating traditional amusement rides such as swing-boats, roundabouts and guided-car rides as well as ride concepts not often found in U.S. parks. One example is the Pony Trek, a family ride that allows children to ride a mechanical horse around a pre-determined course.
Ride Entertainment says the new partnership has filled a gap in its portfolio: “We are excited to partner with Metallbau and represent their product in North America, ” commented Adam Sandy, Ride Entertainment’s Chief Business Development Officer. “Metallbau’s attractions can currently be found at Six Flags properties, Darien Lake, and Legoland Florida, and we are looking to expand that significantly.”
Metallbau’s Managing Director, Franz Lohmann, said he hoped the partnership would be instrumental in making U.S. parks more familiar with the company’s products: “Partnering with Ride Entertainment as a representative for North America will allow us to introduce our amusement rides to parks, along with our philosophy of building quality German rides that can be enjoyed by children and their parents.”
