News
Simtec Systems Alexander Bresinsky

Simtec Systems, a leader in motion simulation, has announced the appointment of Alexander Bresinsky as director business development.

Bresinsky will assist clients and partners in the first phases and early stages of project development. He will also take on some of the responsibilities previously held by Andreas Stickel, who is now chief executive officer.

Stickel says: “I am delighted that Alexander is joining our group. He brings extensive experience and technical expertise to our global team. He has acted for many years in similar senior roles and has a strong network within the entertainment industry.”

Engineering expertise

Bresinsky is excited to take on new challenges and create innovative and unique ride systems for the attractions sector. He brings 30 years of experience in themed entertainment and first met the Simtec team in Los Angeles early in his career when the firm designed the motion system for the Asteroid Adventure at Phantasialand.

“Motion rides and motion simulation technology marked the beginning of my career, and the engineering required for this has always fascinated me. I am very happy to continue on this path together with Simtec, which I have come to value very highly in all this time,” says Bresinsky.

Bresinsky was formerly director business development at MKTengineering, a leading creative engineering services provider. He is also a member of the European Board of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).

Simtec Systems recently exhibited at IAAPA Expo Europe 2024, which took place in Amsterdam. The firm showcased the FUNRIDE motion-based attractions family, interactive dark rides, and the HEXaFLITE and HEXaFLITEmini.

Last year, Simtec Systems also announced the expansion of the Simtec Manufactory at its headquarters in Braunschweig, Germany, and formally marked the founding of its subsidiary Simtec North America, Inc. which is adopting the proven concept of Simtec’s subsidiary Simtec Asia for the North American market.
