Themed Entertainment Association announces new slate of directors

Key industry figures will guide TEA through next 12 months and beyond

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), a non-profit representing compelling places and experiences worldwide, has announced new additions to its International and Divisional Boards.

The new additions follow the result of the association’s annual board elections.

Key leaders include Medici XD’s Chuck Fawcett, who will continue as TEA international board president. Yael Coifman is retained as TEA Europe and Middle East Division board president and Jeff Crocker proceeds as TEA Western North America Division board president. Miia Tahtinen and Greg Senner take on new division board president roles for Asia Pacific and Eastern North America respectively.

International Board of Directors (elected to three-year terms):

  • Marissa Blake, Freelance Experience Designer (Fortville, IN) (re-elected for a second three-year term)
  • Ifat Caspi, P&P Projects (Netherlands)
  • Chris Lange, Chris Lange Creative (Germany)
  • Anthony Pruett, The Hettema Group (Pasadena, CA) (re-elected for a second three-year term)

Asia Pacific Division board directors (elected to three-year terms):

  • Miia Tahtinen, Sanderson Group International Pty. Ltd. (Asia Pacific Board President)
  • Gregory Arndt, ArtistryWare (re-elected for a second three-year term)           
  • Osman Baig, Studio O LLC (Beijing)
  • Rick Bluhm, Universal Studios (Japan)
  • Eric Lee – Warner Bros. (F.E.), Inc. (Hong Kong) (re-elected for a second three-year term)
  • Adron Leow – ALLF Management Group SDN BHD (Malaysia) (re-elected for a second three-year term)
  • Keiji Maeda – Panasonic (Japan) (re-elected for a second three-year term)   
  • Mason Schmitz – P+A Projects Pte Ltd (Singapore) (re-elected for a second three-year term)
  • Yuan Wang – Wanda Group (China)

Eastern North America Division board directors (elected to three-year terms):

  • Greg Senner, Scenario / A Cockram Company (Eastern Division Board President)

Eastern North America Division associate member representatives (elected to two-year terms):

  • Arielle Spencer – Student (Clemson, SC) (re-elected for a second two-year term)

Europe and Middle East Division board directors (elected to three-year terms)

  • Alexander Bresinsky, MKT Engineering (Germany)
  • David Camp – D & J Consulting (UK) (re-elected for a second three-year term)
  • Paul Kent, Simworx (UK)
  • Nora Okail, The Happiness Factory (Saudi Arabia)
  • Wim Strijbosch, Strijbosch Experience Analytics (Netherlands)

Europe and Middle East Division associate member representatives (elected to two-year terms):

  • Matt Bashford – Kadence (UK)

Western North America Division board directors (elected to three-year terms):  

  • Lacy Campbell – The Bezark Company (Seattle, WA) – re-elected for a second three-year term
  • Bryan Hinckley – Electrosonic, Inc. (Burbank, CA)
  • Gene Rogers – Lionsgate (Santa Monica, CA) – re-elected for a second three-year term
  • Raina Ross – AOA (Santa Clarita, CA)

Western North America Division associate member representatives (elected to two-year terms):

  • CJ Gohl – KHS&S (Los Angeles, CA)

The TEA has officially welcomed the new leaders to their roles and also thanked outgoing Board members who have successfully finished their terms including former TEA Eastern North America Division board president Trent Oliver and TEA Asia Pacific Division board president Owen Zhao. The Themed Entertainment Association also recently announced the winners of its annual Thea Awards, with accolades going to leading organisations including Universal Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering.
