Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa is set to open this summer

Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey is opening a new resort and spa within its 350-acre safari park on 14 June.

The upcoming Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa will offer a luxury glamping experience in the heart of Six Flags Wild Safari, which is home to more than 1,200 animals.

The new resort offers 20 glamping suites in various sizes. With a two-night minimum stay, guests can enjoy a giraffe feeding experience, daily breakfast, and multi-park passes for access to Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Wild Safari, and the Hurricane Harbor water park.

As for spa services, holistic treatments with therapists are all designed to promote relaxation and wellness.

“We are excited to welcome guests this spring to the Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa, where opulence meets the open savannah in the heart of New Jersey,” said park president Brian Bacica.

“Our team is planning every detail to create a luxury experience welcoming guests to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of our resort.

“Whether you seek relaxation, a family adventure, or a romantic getaway, Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa promises to exceed your expectations.”

Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa is part of one of the largest investments at Six Flags Great Adventure Resort in nearly 20 years.

Additionally, Six Flags Great Adventure is debuting its 15th coaster this summer, The Flash: Vertical Velocity. The theme park is home to award-winning rides like Kingda Ka, Nitro, El Toro and Jersey Devil Coaster.

Elsewhere, Six Flags Over Georgia has announced the name of its new Intamin Ultra Surf coaster. The new attraction is called Georgia Surfer and is described by Six Flags as an “industry-revolutionizing attraction” as it offers a coaster experience with aquatic elements.

Six Flags Great Adventure will open for the 2024 season on 16 March.
