Technically Creative, the immersive experience expert, has announced the appointment of Clive Powell to the role of Creative Sales Manager.

Technically Creative is pleased to announce that it has welcomed a new team member, Clive Powell, who will be taking on the role of Creative Sales Manager as the company expands, following its successful launch last year. Following his appointment, Powell will work to drive and develop sales at Technically Creative.

Powell has a strong background in and passion for the attractions industry and brings with him a thorough working knowledge of how to deliver on clients’ expectations. As Technically Creative continues to innovate and work on new products, services and technology, he will play a key role.

Specialising in the attractions industry

Powell started his career as a commercial illustrator and marketing professional in the leisure sector, before moving into the leisure attraction arena where he designed children’s soft play and laser tag arenas around the world.

Following this, he then worked in the theming industry, designing and manufacturing attractions, and then did some consulting work, heading up creative divisions for some well-known brands. He has worked on projects with a wide range of attractions and operators, for instance, Sundown Adventureland, Paulton’s Park, Drayton Manor, Sea-Life, Blackpool Tower and the Trafford Centre, as well as some high-end private theming commissions.

“I am delighted to join this exciting company,” says Powell. “For me, the handshake was as much inspired by the team of talented people as the incredible products the company is creating… Watch this space… Technically Creative’s work is out of this world!”

Founder and Managing Director Marc Broadbent says “Clive joining the organisation really was a no brainer. The passion, creativity and knowledge that he brings is breath-taking, skills that cannot be taught!”

The company recently worked on a project for Xplore, a groundbreaking FEC in Athens, Greece.
