ThisPlays International, a leading provider of photo booths for attractions, zoos, aquariums and shopping centres, has announced that it has entered into a new four-year agreement with Parques Reunidos. Although ThisPlays and Parques Reunidos have been partners for the last four years, this new agreement takes the partnership to the next level in terms of volume of locations, tech, and focus points.
Parques Reunidos is an international entertainment company based in Madrid, Spain, operating over 50 leisure centres across Europe, North America and Australia. This positions Parques Reunidos as the only successful global operator to operate all types of parks at prime locations across various regions.
A strategic partnership
The partnership will cover Parques Reunidos sites in Europe, with a focus on the durability of materials, including wooden cabins and printing with low to no PVC. The photo booths feature the latest technology, including AI, as well as dynamic theming, which means that content and photo frames are always aligned with on-site events and holiday seasons.
The firm has a simple yet proven business model. All investments, including R&D and investments in the physical setup, are covered by ThisPlays in its unique revenue share model program. This means that ThisPlays covers all costs, and the revenue is shared with its partners, who only need to provide a few square metres of space and a power socket.
Placing the photo booths for free means that the attractions themselves have a profitable, themed activation with zero risk.
Earlier this year, ThisPlays International shared that it is rapidly expanding into the water park industry. The company, which has already partnered with Tropical Islands near Berlin, Germany, for multiple years, has recently closed a long-term agreement with the award-winning Scandinavian water park chain Lalandia, as well as Suntago Water World near Warsaw, the largest indoor water park in Europe.
