Tokyo Disney Resort® announced today that the total combined attendance at Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park for fiscal year 2012 (April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013) amounted to a record high of 27, 502, 000 persons (2, 155, 000 more persons, or 108.5% of the attendance figure for the previous year).
In fiscal year 2012, Toy Story Mania!, the popular new attraction which opened in July at Tokyo DisneySea, together with the variety of special events in each season, such as “Mickey & Duffy’s Spring Voyage” at Tokyo DisneySea and “Disney Natsu Matsuri” at Tokyo Disneyland, which were newly introduced in 2012, as well as the Halloween and Christmas seasonal events, were favorably received by Guests.

With the above factors and the good weather during the summer vacation period and the fourth quarter, the full-year attendance reached a record-setting number.
In fiscal year 2013, we will offer the yearlong Tokyo Disney Resort 30th: The Happiness Year and other attractive programs, such as the new parade “Happiness Year Is Here” and the new attraction Star Tours: The Adventures Continue at Tokyo Disneyland, that are certain to appeal to Guests.
