Antonio Zamperla S.p.A. started in the sixties in Altavilla Vicentina (Vicenza) located in northern Italy. Antonio’s idea was to take popular adult amusement rides and transform them into rides that could be enjoyed by children. These rides included the Kiddie Bumper Cars, Mini Airplane, and the Balloon Race. The success of these rides led to the U.S. expansion in the seventies where the company capitalized on the booming amusement park and carnival industries. As the years progressed, Antonio Zamperla S.p.A. maintained its traditions of designing kiddie and family-friendly rides (Crazy Bus, Samba Balloon, Rockin’ Tug, Happy Swing, etc), while adding adult thrill-seeker rides to its portfolio (such as: Air Race, Disk’o, Power Surge, Discovery, and the Motocoaster).
Zamperla is looking for Test Pilots at the IAAPA Attractions Expo, please stop by Booth 2024 to experience the Air Race.
