Triotech announced today that is has launched a new breed of Interactive Dark Ride.

In partnership with Zamperla, the purveyors of some of the world's most successful attractions with presence worldwide, Triotech's new iDR immerses players in a universe that combines the most advanced interactive technology along with the thrills and speed in a cart uniquely crafted by Zamperla for the attraction. Designed specifically for group gameplay, the iDR physically moves players through a series of interactive stations with large-scale curved screens in competition for the highest score during intense motion ride adventures produced exclusively by Triotech.

The cutting edge technology is the cornerstone of the advanced motion and targeting systems – all synchronized to communicate with a central show control system that tracks the scores of each player. Players experience the full spectrum of effects, movements, from subtle motions to intense rotations all orchestrated in tandem with the content displayed on the immersive screens.
Up to six players at a time can embark on each cart in this new adventure. With an hourly capacity of up to 700 persons and a usable space of around 650m2, it will deliver a spectacular ride experience to patrons and value for money to operators.
